Learn the basics of bike touring (long distance) and bikepacking* (distance and weight) as you build your endurance with long distance rides and (optional) increasing weight on your bike. Participants should be comfortable in the saddle for at least 2 hours with the expectation of increasing ride time and (optional) weight as the season progresses. *The backpacking component is optional. You do not have to increase weight on your bike to participate in the Touring rides.

Discover the joy of group bike rides on Milwaukee’s best trails! Rides include a short introduction on bike safety followed by a group ride led by our experienced ride leaders. Rides will focus on bike trails with some street riding and are suitable for beginners. This is a slow roll, no-drop ride, which means no one will be left behind. We will start and end at the same location. Ride distance is dependent on the group and riding conditions, but we aim for an approximately 90 minute ride. Must provide your own bike & helmet. An informal, social, no-drop bike ride at about 10-12 mph. Gather at 6:00PM by the bike racks in the upper part of Hubbard Park off of the Oakleaf Trail in Shorewood to roll out at 5:15PM for about a 45 minute return to the start. Eventually this ride ties in well with the opening of the Beer Garden and the Summer Sounds in July.

Helmets are also encouraged. Most riding will be on the Oakleaf system of trails. Check Reddit’s MiltownBiking thread for route info, plan is to check trail conditions by Tuesday evenings.

We are a group of South Milwaukee citizens who advocate for our city to be safe, livable, financially strong, resilient, and inviting. Join us at Bucyrus Commons for a slow, easy cruise through South Milwaukee. Last Friday of the month, gather 5:30–5:45 p.m., roll out at 6 p.m.

6–8 mph pace, all-abilities welcome, no rider left behind! Helmets encouraged, extra lights recommended as evenings stretch. Shake off winter, soak up the longer days, and ride with neighbors on the South Shore!

Cream City Cycle Club (CCCC) is a Milwaukee-based volunteer run bike club with more than 130 active members. CCCC is locally renowned for our schedule of weekly Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday group rides, many overnight camping rides, and our annual Century Classic ride.

Our ride season starts on the second weekend of April and goes through the end of October. Whether you’re an experienced bicyclist, a beginner or are somewhere in between, we encourage you to choose a date and come ride with us. We supply RWGPS routes, cue sheets, suggest rest stops and provide a ride leader to start you off.

CCCC rides are suitable for beginning recreational riders and veteran long distance riders alike. Our rides start from convenient Milwaukee metro locations as well as more rural ride starts, and range from 20 miles to 100+ distances during the season.

Outdoor education and adventure aimed at empowering the youth of Milwaukee County by bike.

Participants from all schools are welcome to join.

Milwaukee Recreation practices at our Riverside and MacDowell sites to help middle school and high school students learn the sport of mountain bike racing. You will learn to ride a mountain bike through the woods, pedaling around rocks and roots on trails. You’ll enjoy the excitement of racing and spend time with fun people.

All levels of riders are encouraged to try the sport. If you have never ridden a mountain bike or if you are already racing, we have a spot for you.
